First, updating this journal is really a pain. I don't have enough time to write as much as I'd like to, and that really bothers me because I want to keep y'all updated. So what I'm thinking about doing is just using Twitter as my 'journal.' I'll add the Twitter box to my profile so all of you can keep in touch with me that way. Also, if you'd like to comment on anything I post or tell me something, just hit me up with a note or comment on my profile page. I'm sorry if this is a little more difficult, but it's much easier for me with swim team, school, and volunteering. And don't worry, I update my Twitter quite frequently, so it's not like I'm going to sit there doing nothing. If you would also like to have another form of contact with me, note me for my Facebook. In other news... I went to the Georgia Aquarium on July 2nd! ~ctristand0828 bought tickets for my 16th birthday gift! Ohhhh it was amazing, as it always is. It was my second time going, and I loved it more than I did the first time. It was also a great opportunity for me to try out my new Nikon D40 that all of my relatives and my parents helped to buy for me instead of getting me a car haha. Which is fine by me, 'cause I am quite content with my dad's old pickup truck. I am VERY impressed with the D40; I love it even more than I thought I would! So far I only have the one kit lens, 18-55mm, and a UV filter I bought with a gift card a friend got me. I'm still getting to know the camera and how it reacts to certain situations, but I have figured out how to use all the functions and what not. So yes, be expecting more photos from me now, because it is actually fun to take photos again. (:
